Getting publicity for a book is the most economical thing an author can do to get the word-of-mouth going that every book needs to be successful. Word-of-Mouth is when people talk about your book because they heard from a friend it was a “good book” to read. Or they just ‘heard’ the author on a radio show and he/she was terrific. This is where the term free publicity came from.
Word-of-Mouth IS FREE but it takes a financial commitment from the author or publisher to get the publicity going so that word-of-mouth can do its work.

We make our authors newsworthy. We look for the unique angle for each book and discuss various approaches to get covered by the media. We then create a press kit with a focused angle. We also obtain blurbs from reviewers, members of the media, academics, etc., and include these in the press materials. We also create a book trailer that brings the book to life in a 60 second video featuring the book. Sometimes the media won’t have time to read a press release but they’ll watch a quick book trailer.
